Professional History & Community Involvement
I have 17+ years of experience in providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy services to youth and adults-including older adults. I have had the opportunity and pleasure to work within a variety of clinical settings--inpatient psychiatric facilities, behavioral health clinics, and multi-disciplinary healthcare organizations--which has allowed me to gain a wealth of clinical experience in treating a wide array of mental health and behavioral health issues. Having lived in both rural and urban environments, I have had the opportunity to gain experience in working with clients from diverse ethnic & cultural, spiritual, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
In 2006, I assisted in providing mental health disaster relief to those affected by the mass shooting at Virginia Tech. I provided pro-bono counseling services through the United Way and Mental Health Association in Blacksburg, VA from 2005-2007.

Personal
I am originally from the Washington D.C metropolitan area though I spent several years studying and working in rural southwestern Virginia. My family and I relocated to Washington State in early 2009 and we are proud to call Seattle and the Pacific Northwest home. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children. As a family we enjoy traveling and hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. I am an avid runner and I also enjoy a Hatha yoga practice. In December 2023 I completed my professional certification with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
